Hey all. I have a problem where windows messenger is automatically signing me in when I open outlook express. This problem just started. I did not do anything that could of started this problem. I checked my messenger settings and nothing has changed my auto sign in is not checked, etc. I can't find anything on OE that talks about windows messenger at all. Any ideas on how to fix this annoying problem? I don't want messenger signing me in and people messenging me especially when all I want to do is check my email and that's it.
Thanks,
Troy

It's not your messenger settings it's your outlook settings. Open outlook and use Alt for tools. After the arrow up to options and look in them to find the messenger settings.

Forreel is right, it's in your outlook express settings in the general tab, about half way down.

If you don't find it let us know and we'll be more explicit.

Go to as if you're signing into MSN, but make sure that "sign me in automatically" is not checked. If it is checked, use the spacebar to uncheck it.

also, if you want to get rid of accounts bein saved on your computer like the e-mails and such, manage that under control panel/user accounts and your username. Go to the manage pasports link and clear the desired entries.
